Free Agent Baseball Camps

Paramount Scouting Bureau conducts Free Agent Baseball Camps for players to be seen for, or those players not drafted in, the June Major League Amateur Draft.  These events are only for draft-eligible college and high school players looking for free agent opportunities.

The Free Agent Baseball Camps are PSB tryouts to evaluate players for baseball opportunities at the professional level.  If our scouts think a player is good enough, PSB will provide the player's information to the scouting directors for teams and leagues all over the world. We do not negotiate contracts; we simply provide trusted and respected evaluations and let the teams decide from there. Several major league teams have committed to sending members of their scouting staff to observe players as they participate in the workout.

The professional scouting staff of PSB evaluates players on their 60-yard times, hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching and catching. After evaluating each player, we determined at what level, if any, the player can compete. PSB then promotes capable players to independent leagues and affiliate teams, major league organizations, and even overseas opportunities in Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Australia, Italy, Sweden and other countries.

PSB keeps in contact with major league teams and other professional organizations throughout the year and receives requests almost daily from pro teams looking to replace players who get released, promoted or injured. Evaluations from our camps are our primary source of information on the players we recommend as teams in need of players contact us throughout the year.
